At Owen Electronics I design all my guitar effects pedals for optimum performance to interface with a wide range of equipment.However I do understand that my customers may have a requirement to fine tune their sound to suit their own personal preferences and equipment.I am therefore pleased to offer a customizing service on all my guitar and bass effects pedals something which is very rare these days and is not available from the larger effects pedal manufactures.This additional service is charged at extra cost and is available to new and existing effects pedals, prices will depend on customers own particular requirements.I am happy to give quotations and estimates for customizing an effects pedal with no obligations.

                                         Customized Space Charge

This pedal has been customised with the clean boost function this gives +25db of clean boost in bypass and effect modes.The pedal has the dry line output to bypass/distortion modification this is useful for routing the signal to a device that does not require a volume boost when the clean boost is engaged.The 3 position drive switch has also been fitted this can put the pedal into overdrive, distortion and distortion plus with variation of drive amplifier clipping.The custom knobs have been fitted to distinguish it from a standard pedal.    

Axe Juice Overdrive Customizing

3 position clipping switch £22.00

This switch gives a selection of drive amplifier clipping textures, which are germanium, silicon and operational amplifier saturation type clipping.The germanium position being the pedals standard clipping mode.

3 position bass boost switch £20.00

This selects between high/med/low bass, the low bass being the pedals standard bass setting.This variation of bass allows for a more transparent sound specially useful at low drive levels or with bass guitars.

3 position mid shape switch £20.00

Bends the shape of the mid response to enhance certain parts of the frequency spectrum, dependent on the position of the mid control and the tuning frequency selected.The centre position of the switch is the pedals standard mid shape response.

If these 3 above options are fitted to the Axe Juice overdrive it will also perform extremely well with bass guitars.
